Burton 10K Road Race

The Burton 10k is part of the BDSL League and takes place every August. The course is acurately measured and takes in country roads finishing on one of Burtons main access routes.

The course is renowned for being undulating, thankfully all of the uphills are covered in the first 3 miles so runners can enjoy the latter part of the race on the downhill section.

The last 400m is run on the Athletics Track at Shobnall, finishing on the line before some well earned refreshments..

Shobnall Road is going to be closed between the Albion pub entrance and Price Court on the day of the race. Anybody travelling along the B5017 from Henhurst Hill/Forest Road end will need to allow time for a detour unless they find parking before the closed road and walk to shobnall leisure complex from the closure.
