Lilleshall Monumental 10k

Sunday, 2nd April, 2017

The Lilleshall Monumental 10K, now in its eighth year loops around this beautiful historic village and has raised almost £12,000 for local sporting facilities. The route follows remnants of the industrial revolution weaving its way along disused canal paths, past ponds, through woods and onwards past the eleventh century church and then on up to the iconic monument itself, which boasts one of the best views in Shropshire. The course is well marshalled and has a water station. As well as category prizes we have Momentoes for all entrants. A post race complimentary massage will be available for those who are interested (many thanks to Stafford university physios). There is also a fun run on the day for young and old at 10.15am and a 'tots and toddlers' event prior to the 10k start. A BBq and cake stall will be in operation, or for those who'd prefer, the bar at the cricket club will be open. A great friendly fun day, don't miss it! Enter now.
