Canine Caperstar
The First Annual Beccles & District Lions Fun Run is a not a racing or timed event as it has been specifically conceived to provide people of all ages and abilities the opportunity of having fun setting and achieving their personal goals whilst, if they wish, raising money for their favourite Charity or Organisation.
There are four 'runs' which can be taken at running, jogging or walking pace around picturesque Beccles Common, with the start and finish on the Sports Field, Common Lane, Beccles.
Distances are 5k, 3k, 1k for Children and a "Canine Caper" which celebrates the many people who use the Common daily to exercise their pets.
We regret that being a traditional mainly untended common, the course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.

Join us on 2nd September 2018 and lets have some fun raising money for local causes.
Registration starts at 09:30 am, you should register and pick up your number at least 30 minutes before the start of your race.
Estimated start time 1.30 pm.
