HUUB Events are delighted to be working with Mickleover Cricket Club to deliver the "Great Northern" Run on Sunday 6th March 2016 - named after the disused Great Northern railway line en route and the finish opposite the Great Northern Pub!
Participants can choose whether to run a 10K or half marathon distance with both races being UKA licensed and the course measured appropriately. The route takes runners around the surrounding country lanes and along the disused railway line with the 10kers completing one lap and the 1/2 Marathoners completing two (and a bit!) laps. The races will start from Mickleover Cricket Club and finish along the railway line.
For family and friends who are supporting our runners there is also the option of a traffic free 2k family fun run along the disused railway line with entertainment and refreshments provided afterwards at the Cricket Club.
