This friendly event, back after a break last year, welcomes first timers as well as seasoned triathletes. It is totally run by volunteers and we donate most of the race income to our chosen charity Fitzroy. A national charity based in Petersfield you can learn more about their work at http://www.fitzroy.org/. In 2017 we raised £5,500 for this very worthwhile cause.
The event is based in the scenic grounds of Churcher's College in the lovely market town of Petersfield at the foot of the South Downs. The swim is in the school's modern flush deck pool. The bike ride takes advantage of quiet roads with an interesting mix of up, down and flat sections. The run is a flat mix of quiet road and track around scenic heathland and Petersfield lake.
The secure grounds of Churcher's College and the friendly race village make it a great event for young and old competitors and spectators, NEW for this year more age group prizes and sponsorship from The Sports Locker.
