This local, popular, race returns for its 11th year in its unique setting.
Our off road race is on a safe, level straight course along the beautiful, rural Forest Way track and is open to all runners aged 15 and over. Age is taken to be age on the race day.
REGISTRATION – is open from 9.30am, start time 11.00am, registration closes 10.45am. Limited on the day registration is available for £2 supplement.
RACE MARSHALS – will be along the route to ensure the safety of and to assist all runners.
TIMING / RESULTS – This year we have StuWeb Timings on board who will be using chip timing to accurately and instantly provide you with your time and provide the results of the categories. All results will be posted to their website after the event. Any queries resulting from your timing should be directed to Stuweb.
ENTRIES – Online entry is via Stuweb website until midnight on Thursday 1st October.. http://www.stuweb.co.uk/event/2166 .
FACILITIES – First aid, free parking, toilets, secure bag storage are available. Free bottled water and medals to all runners. Food and drink refreshments will also be available.
PRIZES & PRESENTATION – Trophy presentation to winners will be held at 12:00. This race will be run in 3 categories :
- Veterans - Open to any male or female runner 50 years of age or over.
- Adults - Open to any male or female runner 18 to 49 years of age.
- Youth - Open to any male or female runner from 15 to 17 years of age.
