Coed y Brenin Enduro & Fat Tyre Revolution 2016

SATURDAY: Fat Tyre Revolutionstar

A fun packed classic celebration of mountain biking on the UK's first and best loved way-marked MTB trail.

Dig out your best retro and classic MTB styles, get your race hat on and get ready to celebrate the Fat Tyre Revolution!

The original RedBull route was launched with an off road time trial and we’ve decided to re-awaken this format for this year’s Fat Tyre Revolution.

The event will consist of a single lap of the Tarw du trail (formerly know as the RedBull trail) with podiums for Fastest climb (fastest time from start to highest point on the route), Fastest Descend (Fastest time from high point to finish) and overall XC (best time over the whole course)

There will be a retrobike class for pre 1996 MTBs and spot prizes for classic MTB and retro styling so get your classic MTB shredder look on and get ready to ride the UK’s first and best loved trail centre classic.

Post race, you can join us for the Fat Tyre Revolution Party and prize-giving at Coed y Brenin VIsitor Centre for a further celebration of Mountain biking and Coed y Brenin. With classic MTB films, Food, Bar and DJ. The atmosphere will be relaxed, giving you the chance to kick back and share tales with bike friends old and new.

The event is part of the Trek Coed y Brenin Enduro weekend.
