Location: The race begins and ends at Bridgnorth Town Hall on High Street, in the beautiful market town of Bridgnorth, Shropshire.
Distance: 10 kilometres (6.22 miles).
Route: An undulating road course through scenic streets, including historic landmarks like Castle Walk and views of the River Severn. Expect some challenging hills, such as Cartway and Railway Street, but also lovely downhill stretches.
Registration: Opens at 9:00 am under the Town Hall and closes at 10:30 am. Race numbers must be worn on the front.
Facilities: No changing or bag storage facilities, so come ready to run. Public toilets are available nearby.
Safety: The race is on open roads, so runners must keep left and follow marshal instructions. Headphones are not allowed.
Support: A water station is provided at the halfway point. First responders will be on-site.
Finish Line: All finishers receive a medal and t-shirt. Prizes for the top three male and female runners.
Community Spirit: The event is organised by Bridgnorth Running Club and is hugely popular, often selling out early. It’s a friendly, well-supported race with great local atmosphere.
